One More Week

Thank you for your support for the competition. We've the results with us. But the judges have decided to go through all the posts once again so as to reconfirm the scores provided to each entry.
This process may take one or two more weeks. Results will be announced once this process is complete. Please be with us till then.

About Our Judges

Hardik Shah
Age: 25

An enthusiast technology evangelist, Hardik has been associated with Microsoft’s .NET Framework since its Beta 2 stage. He was amongst the very few in the world to have been given a chance to research the pre-release bits of Longhorn, Avalon, Magnellon & Maestro. Since March. 2002 Microsoft has conferred on him the MSA (Microsoft Student Ambassador) status in recognition of good technical contribution to the user community in general.
Hardik is one of the founding members and convener of the PuneITPro and MumbaiITPro which with over 300 members is India’s 2nd user group for the IT Professionals.
He was awarded The best Student Ambassador amongst 130 students for the IT Pro and Security Category.
Hardik has been doing session on various sessions on .NET, XML, Security, IIS and other technologies.
In November 2005, Hardik was nominated by Culminis, a NPO/NGO worldwide organization, as a Mentor to set up Microsoft IT Academy Schools across APAC. He is the fist one in India and second across Asia Pacific. Since then he has been actively talking to various educational institutions and helping them solve problems related to IT Infrastructure and Systems Management
In January 2006, Hardik was nominated as a Speaker for Academic Initiatives Programme of Culminis for the Asia Pacific Region. He was the first speaker to be nominated on Culminis Speaker Bureau from India.
In his current role at Microsoft, he focuses on Productivity on Vista / Office 2007 / Exchange 2007 / MOSS 2007 for the Employees, as well as looking after the Infrastructure and Security of the Mumbai Campus.





Dhiraj Jain
Age: 22

Dhiraj is Director of 01 Synergy B.V, a fast upcoming Offshore IT Company with registered office in Netherlands and ODC in Pune, India. He is also Director at New Media Freaks Limited UK.

More over, he is Animal Lover, very active with PETA, PAWS, PFA. He heads the People For Animals, Pune unit and is an Animal Welfare Office, Govt. of India.

He is involved in various social activities and is also co-founder of "PATH: People For Any Time Help", a social service and trekking club in Pune.





Dinesh Soni
Age: 23

Dinesh is currently management student at Chetana's R K Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.

An IT engineer from MIT Pune, he has served as Head of Department, Dept of Computer Science at MIT College of Science and Computer Studies, Latur, the city well-known for the "Latur Pattern" in the education sector. Dinesh was placed in a well known IT firm. But replying the call of time, he entered the educational domain.

He is involved in various social activities and is also co-founder of "PATH: People For Any Time Help", a social service and trekking club in Pune.

Dinesh has special love towards the forts of Sahyadri and he has leaded various expeditions for cleaning up the forts of Sahyadri.




Rushal Thaker
Age: 22

Rushal, an enthusiastic social worker, is a Computer Engineering pass out from MIT Pune, currently preparing for MBA entrance exams.

A cadet with 3 MAH AIR SQN, NCC (Pune), who rose to the rank of a Corporel; Rushal is invlovled in various social activities like Blood Donation, Eye Donation, Voluntery help at Cancer Hospitals etc. He has arranged many Blood Donation camps with the MIT NCC Troop, a social service group at MIT Campus.

Rushal has a special interest in Right To Information Act, 2005 and has delivered a number of presentations and lectures about the topic. He is also involved in various adventure activities like trekking, rappling, rock climbing etc.

About Registration Process

“Best Indian Blog Competition” is a pursuit to note the best of Indian blogs and share with the world. Through this competition, we will be felicitating the Best of the Indian blogs and best posts.

You can register for the competition if:

1) You are an Indian who resides in India
2) You have minimum 20 original posts in your blog on 15th July
3) You update the blog frequently (minimum 3 posts each week)
4) Your posts are original (No copy Paste stuff)
5) The blog is text blog (No photo blog / Video blog / Podcasts)

How to Register:

i) Your Name
ii) Your City
iii) Your Mail Id
iv) Blog Address

2) The judging team will check the blog and will approve / disapprove
3) Last date for the registration is 25th July
